Every great company starts with a pivotal moment of conviction. For Quest, that spark ignited after four decades of witnessing the textile industry's persistent struggles: inconsistent chemistry, reactive formulations, and the mounting tension between performance and sustainability.
Vinay Joshi, a Textile Chemistry graduate from VJTI Mumbai with an expansive career spanning sales, marketing, and technical innovation in the chemical industry, had seen it all. He knew that the industry did not just need better products. It needed a partner, one that would listen, co-create, and stand behind every formulation.
In 2017, Quest Performance Additives (India) Pvt. Ltd. was born, registered, founded, and headquartered in Mumbai with a plant established at MIDC, Navi Mumbai. From day one, the philosophy was clear: every customer's challenge is unique, and so must be the solution. Despite navigating the disruptions of a global pandemic in 2020 to 21, Quest achieved key revenue milestones and commenced international exports, a testament to the resilience and agility embedded in its DNA.
By 2024, distribution had expanded to 36 locations, international presence reached five countries, and sustainability certifications (ZDHC, GOTS, and Eco Passport) were secured.
Quest registered under ROC and founded in Mumbai, where the vision to transform textile chemistry begins.
State-of-the-art facility established at MIDC, Navi Mumbai. First specialty chemical range launched.
